You might think that I just won the lottery, or that Lucas said Mommy or something. No, but after a good 6 months of signing milk to him, he signed it back to me today, and I am seriously on top of the world. I thought I was just imagining things, but he did it a few times. I even got it on video, so I hope you enjoy. Watch his right hand very carefully! This is a big milestone, because it indicates that we have bridged the communication gap with him, and he knows that language exists. What a joyous moment.

How wonderful that Lucas has gotten the idea - and signed 'milk' at only 9-months-old! He may have a hearing disability - but he is one smart cookie!! Phyllis
YEAH LUCAS!!! Isn't this just awesome! We swear Aiden is signing milk too, I have it on video on my phone, but need to get it on video camera. Lucas is such a cutie and getting so big! Adorable!

Soooooo cute! What a smart little guy you have on your hands. I remember how rewarding it was to finally see Isaac sign back to me. The sky is the limit for your little man!
